In
cases where off the shelf materials are not suitable, Ecertec can develop
a bespoke composition or material.
High quality characterisation
facilities are at the heart of our development strategy.
Impedance and resonance testing is used to detect potential design or manufacturing
problems quickly.
Electron microscopy (SEM
& TEM) is used to design and develop materials at the microstructural
level and to asses features such as electrodes, terminal bonding or multi-layer
devices..
Physical displacement/force
measurementsassess the validity of predicted (design) performance.
High speed digital micro-videography is used to asses performance at the device
in operation. With digital analysis, measurements may be made of device motion
to detect problems such as twisting, shearing or debonding.
